This tour around Namibia in March 2010 was less wildlife-focussed than my usual trips, and travelling in the rainy season made it difficult to spot some of the animals in the thick vegetation. However Namibia's deserts and dunes are impressive, as was the sight of thousands of fur seals at Cape Cross. From the capital Windhoek, we headed to the deserts of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, then to the coast, across to the savannah and salt pan of Etosha National Park, and finally to Waterberg Plateau National Park via the Cheetah Conservation Centre.
