Birds & Reptiles
Although I'm not a birder I do like owls, and Kruger is a good place to see them even in daylight. They seem wary of the vehicles and most remain at a distance or hidden amongst the leaves and branches. Even so, we had some reasonable views of giant eagle owls, and the resident scops owl at Satara camp is a guaranteed sighting (once the guide points it out of course). Kingfishers are another favourite of mine, and we saw both the pied and giant varieties.
